This was a peculiar challenge given the 1.6 kilometer length of the main building wing. Each venue required its own look and feel while also keeping the wayfinding program standard. Lorenc+Yoo developed large, ornate identity signage, custom mosaics, art nouveau lighting, and even an information kiosk taken straight from the streets of Paris. In the Paris area, they are taken to a Parisian street corner with street side dining, fountains, and, of course, a bakery. Visitors notice quickly a 40 foot-long video board displaying directional information and marketing graphics. The new main entry is designed to feel like a London train station and is the starting point for the visitor experience.
In addition to the attractive new main entry, the new design highlights the space’s three restaurants, nightclub, VIP private gaming areas, and various other amenities. The casino floor is separated into themed environments featuring famous cities of the world, of which Lorenc+Yoo designed new areas for Rome, London, Paris, and Madrid. It offers a 3,500-seat Global Events Center, 27-hole golf course and academy, and a three-tower, 895-room hotel. Seated at the Red River Valley between Dallas, Taxes and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, WinStar World Casino and Resort is an economic enterprise of the Chickasaw Nation, with more games than any casino in the world.
